Matteo Ciancio · Brand Designer Portfolio
A personal portfolio that positions Matteo Ciancio as a brand designer who decides before he draws. It is built in Framer, and every section is placed to move a visitor from curiosity to contact.
A portfolio has to sell the work without inflating the person.

Designing for yourself removes the brief. Nobody sets the boundary and nobody signs off. So we wrote the brief anyway, as if the client were someone else.
The site has one job: turning a visitor into a conversation. Every section sits in the order a client actually asks questions.
Framer is a builder, and builders push you towards their templates. Interactions, motion and layout were drawn first, then rebuilt inside it.
Every designer has a portfolio. This one says what it decided, and in which order.
Type does the work. Motion points at it.

Typography as identity
The typographic system carries the identity. Size and hierarchy do what a logo cannot.

Minimal but not empty
Negative space is decided, not left over. The layout stays quiet so the work can be read.

Motion with purpose
Scroll and hover states move attention, they do not decorate. Each one answers a question the visitor is about to ask.
A portfolio that shows the decisions, not only the results.

"A portfolio is the first brand project a designer delivers. This one follows the same order as the client work: decide, then draw."
